Hot Stone Therapy Massage

Hot stone massage combines the benefits of hydrotherapy with the strokes of massage using stones to create a deep, relaxing and healing treatment. The heat of the stones warms the skin, which allows for the absorbtion of moisturizing and therapeutic oils, while simultaneously preparing the musculature of the body so the therapist can work into the deeper muscle layers. Benefits include: increased local circulation, improved blood flow to surrounding tissues, and greater ability to transport toxins and waste products from the area.
Deep Tissue Massage

This type of massage is normally requested by those who receive massages frequently. This is a deeper, firmer massage that incorporates Swedish movements and Deep Tissue techniques to affect the release of recurring muscle tension.
Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage — to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. But it's also tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies, and therapists who are trained in prenatal massage adjust their techniques accordingly.
Reflexology

We preform this ancient healing art form by massaging accupressure points on the feet that correspond with regions of the body. Utilizing warm towels in combination with invigorating massage techniques, an overall relaxing sensation is created for the entire body.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is a type of Swedish massage that stimulates circulation of blood and lymph fluids. Some sports massage movements use trigger point therapy to break down adhesions (knots in the muscles) and increase range of motion. There are four types of sports massages:
* pre-event sports massage -- a short, stimulating massage 15 - 45 minutes before the event. It is directed toward the parts of the body that
will be involved in the exertion.
* post-event sports massage -- given within an hour or two of the event, to normalize the body's tissues.
* restorative sports massage -- given during training to allow the athelete to train harder and with less injury.
* rehabilitative sports massage -- aimed at alleviating pain due to injury and returning the body to health.
Concentrated Area Massage (ie: Neck, back and shoulder)
